The highway overpass is gone, and the Empire uphill becomes a fly-by downhill as you head for the finish. This alpine loop takes runners from picturesque farms and meadows alive with birdsong, into charming Old Town Park City, across a skier bridge and along both quiet residential streets and smooth, wide gravel paths on the downhill finish to the Newpark Fieldhouse at Kimball Junction. The new half marathon course is a scenic out and back design, largely on paved or gravel bike paths, over streams on wood plank bridges, and past the historic barn shown on our logo, with a great downhill finish. We guarantee a negative split time! |
