Park City, Utah Summer Concerts
Park City's cool summer temperatures and lush mountain foliage make a gorgeous backdrop for the endless list of symphonies, chamber music, jazz, bluegrass or rock n' roll during a Park City summer. Kicking off Independence Day weekend, Blood, Sweat & Tears brings unwavering soul to the stage. Other headliners throughout the summer include LeAnne Rimes, Abba, Elvis Costello, Al Jarreau and featuring the “Father of Rock and Roll,” Chuck Berry, bringing classic rock to the stage on August 29, 2009 at Deer Valley Resort.
 The Fidelity Investments Jazz Festival runs from August 21-23, 2009 and fills the air with cutting-edge jazz and old favorites, including Esperanza Spalding, Poncho Sanchez, and Al Jarreau. The long-standing Deer Valley Music Festival brings glorious performances by Leanne Rimes and Elvis Costello. The Park City Performing Arts Foundation's Big Stars Bright Nights series brings internationally acclaimed performers to Deer Valley's outdoor stage throughout the summer. A partial line-up includes Abba, Blood, Sweat and Tears and concluding with Chuck Berry.
Looking for free concerts this summer? Mountain Town Stages promotes local musicians, scheduling free summer outdoor concerts at five stages all over town. Every Wednesday night, Wells Fargo and the Park City Performing Arts Foundation host a free locals' concert at Deer Valley's outdoor amphitheater. The Canyons Resort also gets into the act with free concerts every Saturday in the forum.
